Our team works to ensure that Mike Watson Transport continue to offer the innovative services that we have developed over the last 30 years to truly benefit our customers. Here you can see who’s who and find out a little bit more about our dedicated team. We strongly believe in good training and ensure that our staff members are able to adapt to a changing market and the needs of our customers.

Paul Elson
Managing Director Palletline Logistics

Paul joined Palletline in May 2019 as Managing Director of Palletline Logistics. He has over 20 years’ experience within Logistics and Transport based companies, specialising in operational and general management within large scale operations. During his career Paul has worked in a variety of roles and industries including Network Distribution, Third Party Logistics, Hazardous Waste and Fuel Distribution.
Outside of work Paul enjoys spending weekends with his two sons, Adam and Josh. As an Arsenal supporter he’s finding more time to improve his cooking skills, get back into running and develop his DIY skills on the house he has just moved into.

David Simonds
Operations Manager

David joined us in 2016. He has been around transport all his life and understands what is expected in the current market. A qualified mechanic, David’s responsibilities also include ensuring our fleet of vehicles are well maintained and serviced.

Taz Nazir

Taz joined us in June 2018, with the aim of building a stronger customer base whilst improving existing links with customers. Taz has been in the transport industry for a number of years and has a wide range of experience.

Richard Gundry

Richard Gundry Contact
Richard has been working for Mike Watson Transport for many years. Richard’s primary responsibility is the storage which is held in our warehouse, his duties include operating the Pick and Pack system and route planning, and he is also qualified as a back-up driver.

George is the newest member of our team and joined us in June 2018. George works in all aspects of customer services and warehousing.
